Sangri-La Bar is ground-zero for the scene in Havana – what we call “La Farandula”. Everyone wants to go to Sangri-La because this is the place to go right now. At Sangri-La you will find Havana’s actors, artists, musicians, and models, and regular people who want a night out with all those people. The place is small, and it gets crowded. If you want to reserve a table it will cost $100 CUC cover (which in Cuba is 3 months salary for a government wage earner), but unless they know you they still won’t reserve the table for you. (Of course Havana VIP can reserve tables for our clients.) If you want to go to THE place and be with THE people, Sangri-La is the place.
