According to the Restaurant:
With 20 years of experience as a family business, La Cocina de Lilliam stands as a benchmark in Cuban gastronomy. The secret lies in the passion she puts into each dish, in the first quality ingredients she uses, in the combination between her lifelong recipes and the personal touch of her kitchen, which she is herself.
According to Havana VIP staff:
La Cocina de Lilliam is one of the original paladares established in Havana in the 1990’s when privately owned restaurants were first permitted. It is owned and operated by the great Sra Lilliam who is know as one of the greatest cooks of Cuban food. If you want to eat the best representation of Cuban food La Cocina de Lilliam Havana Paladar is a place we recommend 100%. Always make reservations for dinner, but sometimes for lunch you can get in there without reservations, and sometimes at lunch Lilliam herself still does the cooking. Lacocina de Lilliam Havana Paladar became very famous because this is where President Jimmy Carter ate when he visited Havana.
