El Gato Tuerto
El Gato Tuerto is one of the oldest continually operating nightclubs in Havana, but unlike many of the other old-time venues in Havana, El Gato is always fun. Thanks to the imaginative efforts of the club’s entertainment director, Julio Acanda, who is well known Cuban TV personality, there is live music entertainment nightly at El Gato Tuerto. The selection of acts is diverse, eclectic, and always good. The venue is small, so if you want a table either reserve in advance or arrive early (before 10:00 pm). Also be warned that El Gato Tuerto can get smokey.
