The spirit of Soviet cuisine overlooking Havana’s Malecón
According to the Restaurant:
Celebrate the social and cultural bond between the Cuban people and the peoples of the former Soviet Union. Our staff are the sons and daughters of the love that flourished between the snow and the Caribbean sun. We revive the flavors and fond memories of many Cubans. Join us, enjoy this mix of history, culture and warmth that is the essence of our restaurant. Nazdarovie!!! Cheers!!!
According to Havana VIP Staff:
Nazdarovie! is a very good Russian food restaurant that honors the decades-long communist alliance between the Soviet Union and Cuba. The original owners and chef were products of that unique Cold War relationship. The decor is contemporary Soviet Kitsch, but the scene stealer is the amazing view of the Malecón. We have had clients question why the would eat Russian food in Cuba, but once they enter Nazdarovie! they love the view and the atmosphere, and when they try the excellent food they really get into the nostalgic spirit.
