La Chuchería is a sports-themed diner-style sandwich place on 1st Ave overlooking the sea in El Vedado (there’s another location in Miramar). Without a doubt La Chuchería has the best smoothies and shakes in Havana. They also offer a good selection of green-lettuce salads which can be hard to find in Havana. The sandwiches and pizzas are also solid. They don’t take phone reservations but they do take phone orders for pick-up, so if you’e staying in the area you can avoid the line that way. Still, the line moves pretty fast, especially if you’re willing to sit inside.

Shakes & Smoothies, Salads, Sandwiches, good deserts and pies too.
