According to the Restaurant:
La Guarida (translated as The Lair) is hidden in an hundred-year-old multi-family building in Centro Habana. The paladar was used as the setting for the famous Cuban film Fresa y Chocolate, and today is the paladar most visited by celebrities and global jet-setters in Havana. You’ll be amazed by our merging of the best international cuisine with Cuban traditions. Creation and innovation are our substrate and identity.
According to Havana VIP staff:
La Guarida is the most famous Havana Paladar. Many clients feel that for their trip to Havana to be complete, they must eat at La Guarida. La Guarida can get very busy, so reserve at least two weeks in advance for weekend dinners. We send our clients here for lunch after the Museum of Fine Arts, and dinner before the Ballet Nacional de Cuba.
