5 Esquinas Café is a true sidewalk café trattoria in the Loma del Ángel section of La Habana Vieja. We recommend this place most often for the great breakfast buffet. There are very few breakfast places in Havana and 5 Esquinas Café is one of the best options for travelers not having breakfast at their lodgings. 5 Esquinas is also a great place for a quick lunch, but be warned it is a trattoria, so the food is mostly Italian pizza, pastas and more. Many travelers don’t want to eat pizza and pasta in Cuba, because they can eat the same at home, but if you want a break from Cuban food, 5 Esquinas Café makes some of the best pizza in Havana.
